My stack user is a non-root user and has sudo access. net-tools package is already available. Running ipconfig, ip addr commands from root gives ip address as output.

Running the commands ./unstack.sh or ./clean.sh gives me the below error

  [stack@xyz.abc devstack]$ ./unstack.sh
/devstack/functions-common: line 665: ip: command not found
/devstack/functions-common: line 667: ip: command not found
WARNING: setting legacy OS_TENANT_NAME to support cli tools.
/devstack/lib/nova: line 114: ip: command not found
WARNING: Using lib/neutron-legacy is deprecated, and it will be removed in the future
/devstack/lib/neutron_plugins/services/l3: line 91: ip: command not found

1) running 'export PATH' command
2) Next run ./unstack.sh

Refer below url for the export PATH usage

I also faced this. I solved by adding the default gateway sudo route add default gw <default gw="" address=""> eth0 (or whatever your interface is)

and then running ./unstack.sh
