My stack user is a non-root user and has sudo access. net-tools package is already available. Running ipconfig, ip addr commands from root gives ip address as output.

Running the commands ./ or ./ gives me the below error

  [ devstack]$ ./
/devstack/functions-common: line 665: ip: command not found
/devstack/functions-common: line 667: ip: command not found
WARNING: setting legacy OS_TENANT_NAME to support cli tools.
/devstack/lib/nova: line 114: ip: command not found
WARNING: Using lib/neutron-legacy is deprecated, and it will be removed in the future
/devstack/lib/neutron_plugins/services/l3: line 91: ip: command not found
   [Call Trace]
[ERROR] /devstack/functions-common:92 Failure retrieving default route device

I also faced this. I solved by adding the default gateway sudo route add default gw <default gw="" address=""> eth0 (or whatever your interface is)

and then running ./
