Hi everyone. I need create a hybrid cloud for my final studies. But i don't know very well how to do it. I don't know how i can connect both clouds (openstack and AWS). My idea for my study's job is use instances in private cloud (Openstack) and when these intances are using (for example) more than 80% of CPU, launch automatically the same AMI in AWS by auto-scaling group from Openstack or something similar. Can i do it without privative software? Is there any free software or driver to do that?

Many thanks and best regards Diego.

To start with,You can check below pointers.

There is a support for ec2-api for openstack. This is - AWS EC2 and VPC API support in standalone service for OpenStack. Check here ec2-api

Next, You also need to check euca2ools client Eucalyptus client API tools, this is compatible with Amazon Web Services, such as EC2 and IAM. This can also be used with Openstack
