Retrieving instance usage information - Mistral

Hi

I'm working on the openstack mistral, using yaml I'm able to create and delete the instance. Now, trying do some actions inside the VMs ( like installing Packages) in addition try to discover instance informations ( RAM usage, CPU usage ).

I have followed below the link to install packages using Mistral Yaml.

Unfortunately, unable to install and retrieve the Information.

OS: Ubuntu 14.04 Openstack: Mittaka with mistral installation.

Kindly provide me amicable solution.

You can probably get the information you need by using the std.ssh Mistral action. I don't have experience with this myself but I think you would do something like this.

get_instance_stats:
    task: std.ssh
    input:
        cmd: free -m
        host: instance-hostname
        # ...
