I configured my pipeline.yaml like this:

- name: network_source
  interval: 30
      - "network.incoming.bytes"
      - "network.incoming.packets"
      - "network.outgoing.bytes"
      - "network.outgoing.packets"
      - "ip.floating"
      - network_sink

i see in logs that ip.floating is polled but i cant get any sample from this meter in ceilometer what can i do for getting samples from ip.floating???

@bikhial - could U please enable debug/verbose in ceilometer.conf and restart ceilometer services. Then please check ceilomere/collector.log

Also U can run:

ceilometer meter-list -q 'resource_id=$FLOATING_IP_ID'

where $FLOATING_IP_ID' is obtained from neutron floatingip-list

BTW, what openstack version U r using?

@bikhial - so collector.log is totally empty? is it running at all? Also messages from central.log would be useful.

@yprokule yes collector.log is total empty and in central i have message like : 2016-08-24 12:11:13.357 11046 INFO ceilometer.agent.base [-] Polling pollster ip.floating in the context of network_source i dont know what that mean.

@bikhial - what OpenStack's version U r running? collector.log cannot be empty if debug/verbose is enabled. How the installation was done?
