The exact meaning of a metric 'disk.read.bytes.rate' in Ceilometer

Hi, Ceilometer helps monitor the resource usages by measuring the interesting metrics.

'disk.read.bytes.rate' and 'disk.write.bytes.rate' are average rate of read and write. But what exactly does it mean by 'average' here? Average over the last 10 seconds or 30 seconds??

Can any one have idea on it? thanks,

@syko - depends on the pipeline.yaml settings. By default 600 seconds.
