Have setup a two node Liberty system.
The two nodes above are :
Distro : CentOS Linux release 7.2.1511 (Core)

ControllerNode is configured as controller and also has neutron.
ComputeNode is compute.

For ControllerNode while configuring neutron have opted for Networking Option 2 (Self-Service Networks).
Everything is okay till launch.

Some config details:

So what is the problem? False message in log? Or U cannot ssh/ping in/out vm?

U showed public/private net/subnet but are those connected with router ? Also how the vm is launched, what command is used or it's via ui?

The problem is I cannot ssh/ping in/out instance. Yes those interfaces are connected to the router. I have launched the VM through command line with below command: boot --flavor m1.tiny --image cirros --nic net-id=0a194845-ee8b-471d-9f48-55f3a2cc41d7 --security-group default --key-name mykey priv-vm

I guess you are not passing any user-data script (for cloud-init). Please check nova compute log and neutron logs.

@satyajeet - vm fails to reach metadata agent to get the info. Check if nova-metadata and neutron-metadata services are up-n-running
