Hi,

I am using tripleo. I'd like to be able to setup partitions in the disk image, for example what if I want /var/log on a separate partition on the root disk.

I see there is a partitioning-sfdisk element in disk-image-builder, but I'm not sure that is the right way to go about it.

Thanks for any ideas or pointers to documentation. :)

Have you already attempted using disk-image-create per the Ironic docs: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/i... (see Image requirements section).

Yup I have looked at that. It doesn't say, as far as I can tell, anything about creating partitions on the actual baremetal node. It seems partitioning in that section means creating the vmliuz, initrd and qcow images.
