Dear OS users

I have been trying to install devstack from the openstack install guide i.e., all in one single machine.

-I have installed ubuntu 14.04 vm. -assigned a public ip to it. -accessed using SSH with putty. -assigned a passwd to root user -created stack user -assigned sudo permissions from visudo -now tried to install devstack as per the guide -later on im getting the mentioned error.

Can any one please tell me the step by step procedure with the commands to install the devstack in single machine.

Thanks in advance.

your devstack directory does not the proper permission to touch the file, one should give the permission to the devstack dir and you problem gets resolved.
