Planing help: 4 node architecture with ceph!!
Hello,
i am new and Its feels good to be part of openstack community!!!
My background is cloudstack and opennebula so I am new to openstack and i am building 4 node openstack using fuel. Even though i have less hardware i want to allocate 3 (physical) nodes for compute + storage (ceph) and 1 node for fuel master (VM) and controller (VM). before i start deployment i need your expert opinion and tips for the same (possible or not).
following is the architecture diagram i am referring https://www.google.co.in/url?sa=i&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=images&cd=&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwjCgNGZ7I7OAhUBto8KHYsTB6QQjRwIBw&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.shapeblue.com%2Fusing-the-api-for-advanced-network-management%2F&psig=AFQjCNHuVm5aMNZlNEO89b3kswyppImEEw&ust=1469544005693868 (image description)
Please, could you elaborate your question, so we can help you with an answer. What you need to achieve, or what is failing? Regarda
Thanks for showing light Eduardo!!, I have 4 physical server which i have plan to utilize as follows -Openstack Mitaka 1) virtualized with virtualbox (1 VM for Fuel, 1 VM for Controller, 1 VM for Neutron). 2) 3 x Physical host for compute and Ceph OSD (cinder, glance) Each physical server has 4 Nic
virtualized workload will be configured with bridge network. I need following inputs to proceed further. 1) Need to clarify whether planned architecture is correct or not any tips on network architecture as well
Thanks
