Hi there,

I have a problem with the usb3 attachment procedure on a VM created on Openstack (basic version installed using devstack scripting). By contrast, usb2 works fine. The basic Openstack version that I installed on my PC (where ubuntu 14_04_lts is running) support default qemu hypervisor version 2_0. I read that qemu version 2_1 provides both full support for USB3 passthrough (including streams) and that host USB3 device can be attached to a EHCI (USB 2.0) controller in the guest. What do you advise me to do?

Thanks in advance for the support
