Connecting openstack to vCenter 6.0

HI, I'm planning to integrate vCenter 6.0 with Openstack without using Integrated Openstack VMware. So I have a few question regarding this topic:

1. Is there any documentation about how to do it? There are tons of articles how to connect KVM hypervisors or even singular esxi hypervisor but couldn't find any information on connecting vCenter, what are limitations of such solution?

2. Looking at Integrated Openstack VMware - there are two possible approaches to networking matter - VDS and NSX. So my question is does openstack support standard switches or distributed switch is required? What are limitations of such a usage (I've heard about problems with vLans on standard switches). NSX is not an option for me.

I look forward to hearing from any expert who would like to help me with these questions and redirect me into right direction

hi Charlie, have you found a solution back then? I'd make use of it as I am learning OS now and want to leverage my vCenter setup as the compute. Thanks!
