Swift: Generate HASH_PATH_PREFIX and HASH_PATH_SUFFIX

During Swift installation from the docs: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/install-guide-ubuntu/swift-finalize-installation.html

Inside /etc/swift/swift.conf we have to:

Replace HASH_PATH_PREFIX and HASH_PATH_SUFFIX with unique values.

Aren't hashes generated from a given input?
I'am aware how to generate md5/sha hases from a string/file.

Since this is the PREFIX and SUFFIX to the actual hash, any values can be used for each. Each value can be unique, and do not need to be the same. Example: HASH_PATH_PREFIX=hashpath, HASH_PATH_SUFFIX=pathhash.

Thanks Barry, I used something like this: echo "$(pwgen 10 1)" | md5sum
