Hello,

I have an openstack deployment (Liberty) with TripleO, in virtual environment. 1 compute and 1 controller.

Is is possible to add a second compute node on a baremetal machine ?

I would expect answer to be "NO" for Liberty. Plans seems to be as in https://bugs.launchpad.net/tripleo-qu...
Just one question to you. It is here

I've encountered some issues as well. I managed to successfully install Liberty from openstack instructions, but with some manual changes. Regarding the images, the issue was that the installer is copying conflicting yum repos to target images (From both kilo and liberty, for example).

Anyway, I didn't run into the exactly same issue as you did. My images were created but compute/controller nodes weren't able to start services due to incompatible packages.

cd /usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/tripleoclient/ Edit tests/v1/overcloud_image/test_overcloud_image.py and remove rdo-release occurences Edit v1/overcloud_image.py and remove lines - env_vars['RDO_RELEASE'] = 'kilo' - 'rdo-release',

In /usr/share/tripleo-image-elements/delorean-repo/pre-install.d/01-delorean-repo Modify the curl line for rhel and centos to: curl http://trunk.rdoproject.org/centos7-l... -o /etc/yum.repos.d/delorean-deps.repo
