I have followed the installation procedure. I have a controller and compute node each with a 'free' eth1 and want to connect it to the external network.. I have configured neutron with the first option: "Provider Network"

The dashboard gives the above error... I have no networks in the network tab and cannot add one... In the LinuxBridge configuration I have configured

[linux_bridge]
physical_interface_mappings = provider:eth1

Is this correct???

eth1 does not have an IPV4 address, it does however have a IPV6 address...

neutron server log on controller shows the following problem:
2016-05-24 16:31:15.611 1359 WARNING neutron.db.agents_db [req-b60185d3-9952-4e6b-a899-c833825dcf15 - - - - -] Dictionary resource_versions for agent DHCP agent on host controller.localdomain is invalid.

you haven't provided enough information, what installation procedure? - what version of OpenStack?, what have you done to troubleshoot? Have you created a bridge device?

I am installing on Centos7 with the step by step installation procedure for Mitaka. I do not have a bridge device. I am aiming to create the network architecture that is shown in the docs for Mitaka. With a 10.0.0.x control network and a separate connection to the 'internet".

I have finished the steps until the compute node. All is shown as UP. Glance works. Instantiating an image doesn't work because there is not network, which I am not able to create, because of the above error...
