I am testing Cinder block storage failover and after failing over the backend (cinder failover-host xxx@backend --backend_id xxxx) The originating backend the volume was created on gets disabled by current design.

cinder service-list
cinder-volume | r620@sc9000 | nova | disabled | up | 2016-05-17T14:21:43.000000 | failed-over

So far the only way I can retest failover is re stack the node I was hoping there was an easier way to enable the disabled backend for this cinder-volume so I can continue to test

thank you

use can use a command "cinder failover-host --backend_id default r620@sc9000" to enable the host
