Controller default config for nova

I'm trying to install openstack Mitaka on Ubuntu 16.04. Unfortunately apt-get install nova-api does not create a default config in /etc/nova/nova.conf

I follow this tutorial: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/install-guide-ubuntu/nova-controller-install.html (http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/inst...) The shown config parts are not enough, I suspect, since I run into strange MessagingTimeouts, Timed out waiting for a reply ... I'm aware of the samples presented here, but non of them uses Neutron: http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/config-reference/compute/nova-conf-samples.html (http://docs.openstack.org/mitaka/conf...)

Can somebody guide me to a example configuration which uses Neutron, Cinder and LXD for virtualization?

Hi chrido,

"Unfortunately apt-get install nova-api does not create a default config in /etc/nova/nova.conf": Please check Mitaka repository.

You can use guide: https://github.com/vietstacker/OpenSt...

It had to do with this bugreport: https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/1554728 (https://bugs.launchpad.net/nova/+bug/...) I used the proposed workaround
