devstack stable/liberty neutron version

asked 2016-04-29 15:01:03 -0500 gravatar image

Hello, According to this page: [ (], the version of neutron for the liberty release is 7.0.0 - 7.0.4. However, after installing devstack stable/liberty, the following command reports a much older version:

$ neutron --version 3.1.0

Can someone explain this discrepancy?

Openstack liberty may be installed without devstack (AIO or distributed )

1. RDO Liberty
2. Mirantis Fuel 8

My understanding is that Devstack can be used for testing in a local environment. However, if the Devstack Liberty release does not match the Openstack release, how can it be used for testing purposes? gravatar ( 2016-05-02 08:25:00 -0500 )edit
