Attempting to follow "Step 2" of the Quickstart installation steps, (sudo yum install -y openstack-packstack) I receive the below error. Is this a valid installation location? I do have access to the internet from my server and there is no filtering, just appears that this link is not valid.

[ERROR] http://yum.theforeman.org/releases/1.3/el6/ppc64/repodata/repomd.xml : [Errno 14] PYCURL ERROR 22 - "The requested URL returned error: 404 Not Found"

RDO currently supports the x86_64 architecture. ppc64 support is not provided at this time

Any idea if there are statements of direction around this support? If there is intent to support ppc64, any idea if timing will be near-term or very long-term?

I know that there is a lot of work on Power64 happening with oVirt - that work may also benefit libvirt, KVM and friends for OpenStack. No promises, though.

It's answered here (by Pádraig) -- https://ask.openstack.org/en/question/9063/fedora-20-support-for-rdo/

"As for the related yum.theforeman.org issue above, I've asked for that to be fixed at their site and expect it to be in place for the soon to be released RDO icehouse version."
