Following are the steps followed:

  1. Created a container with metadata 'X-Container-Meta-Web-Index: index.html' and uploaded index.html into the container.
  2. When i try to access the container using curl command, it is listing in the xml format instead of the HTML.

curl -v -H 'X-Auth-Token:671801e91c0448cdbd699198525d6d0c' http://x.x.x.x:8080/v1/AUTH_0383d48532a344a59e82afc68c78b821/gc2 (http://x.x.x.x:8080/v1/AUTH_0383d4853...) -H 'Accept:text/html,application/xhtml+xml,application/xml;q=0.9,image/webp,/;q=0.8'

response:

<container name="gc1"><name>index.html</name><hash>118e07c064d5c48c62d055bdb9ec76e0</hash><bytes>37</bytes><content_type>text/html</content_type><last_modified>2016-04-18T21:12:43.067390</last_modified></container>

Am i missing anything here?

Thank you in advance.

Regards, Ganges

Since user is an authenticated user, I am able to solve this using 'X-Web-Mode: true'. Thank you.
