Hello,

Can anyone help me with this problem? A day ago I started with setting up a OpenStack Swift installation. The installation went smooth. I followed this guide: http://www.server-world.info/en/note?os=Ubuntu_14.04&p=openstack_liberty2&f=3 (http://www.server-world.info/en/note?...)

I am using OpenStack Liberty, all the nodes are installed on the Ubuntu 14.04 OS. The setup is as follows:

3 object storage nodes 1 dedicated proxy node

The Swift nodes are all attached to the management network (10.0.1.X/24). My config files:

proxy-server.conf on the proxy server:

    [DEFAULT]
#bind_ip = 0.0.0.0
bind_ip = 0.0.0.0
bind_port = 8080
user = swift

[pipeline:main]
pipeline = healthcheck cache authtoken keystoneauth proxy-server

[app:proxy-server]
use = egg:swift#proxy
allow_account_management = true
account_autocreate = true

[filter:keystoneauth]
use = egg:swift#keystoneauth
operator_roles = admin,user,ResellerAdmin,swiftoperator

# Keystone auth info
[filter:authtoken]
paste.filter_factory = keystonemiddleware.auth_token:filter_factory
auth_uri = http://10.0.1.2:5000
auth_url = http://10.0.1.2:35357
auth_plugin = password
project_domain_id = default
user_domain_id = default
project_name = service
username = swift
password = Password
delay_auth_decision = true

[filter:healthcheck]
use = egg:swift#healthcheck

[filter:cache]
use = egg:swift#memcache

[filter:catch_errors]
use = egg:swift#catch_errors

When i try to use the command "swift post abcdef" from my controller node It returns "Container POST failed: http://10.0.1.8:8080/v1/AUTH_c3f2d1c2bb6a4a93a8a4e92369206663/test (http://10.0.1.8:8080/v1/AUTH_c3f2d1c2...) 503 Service Unavailable".

The "swift list" and "swift stat" commands both don't return any error and execute succesfully.

The /var/log/syslog on the proxy node prints the following:

Apr 20 10:50:36 server1992 proxy-server: Container POST returning 503 for (404, 503, 503) (txn: tx248d46c0eb954a52ba1c5$

I tied to rebuild the ring with the same result. Can anyone help me with this?

Thanks.
