Contrail Cloud Platform Configuration on a Single node

We have a Contrail Cloud Platform Configuration. We are considering a single node reference that is then extended to additional nodes based on the growth. It is unknown if compute, storage, or networking requirements will grow first. What are the advantages and disadvantages of this approach?

I would suggest the single node deployment is really ment for LAB testing. If you plan to deploy in production, do with 3x Openstack controllers, 3x Contrail (Controller, COnfig and DB) and 1x compute node. add more compute nodes as your need grows.

The way you would grow the compute nodes will depend on the Openstack distribution you choose as there are various deployment tools out there. i.e -- Fabric scripts for Juniper Cloud platform. -- Packstack for Centos/RHEL -- Triple0 for Centos/RHEL (Newer versions) -- Fuel for Mirantis OSP.

This is my opinion BTW based on my OpenStack experience, may or maynot be the best! :) Good Luck -VJ.
