Hello everybody.

I have a big problem about openstack networking. It is really complicated for me.

I'm begginer about Openstack so i use Devstack for manage virtual servers.

I have 14 real IP which I can use. The main feature what i want to do is IP floating real ip for instances while starting by using DHCP.

http://barakme.tumblr.com/post/70895539608/openstack-in-a-box-setting-up-devstack-havana-on (http://barakme.tumblr.com/post/708955...)

I follow that guide for installing devstack original local.conf is

DATABASE_PASSWORD=password
RABBIT_PASSWORD=password
SERVICE_TOKEN=password
SERVICE_PASSWORD=password
ADMIN_PASSWORD=password
FLOATING_RANGE=192.168.15.0/27
FLAT_INTERFACE=eth0
LOGFILE=/home/stack/stack.sh.log
Q_FLOATING_ALLOCATION_POOL=start=192.168.15.10,end=192.168.15.20
PUBLIC_NETWORK_GATEWAY=192.168.15.1

disable_service n-net
enable_service q-svc
enable_service q-agt
enable_service q-dhcp
enable_service q-l3
enable_service q-meta
enable_service neutron
# Optional, to enable tempest configuration as part of devstack
enable_service tempest

Some changes about local.conf which I did

I use stable/liberty branch in order to using havana like referred in blog by using git checkout stable/liberty

FLOATING_RANGE=95.173.191.144/28
FLAT_INTERFACE=eth0
Q_FLOATING_ALLOCATION_POOL=start=95.173.191.147,end=95.173.191.157
PUBLIC_NETWORK_GATEWAY=95.173.191.145

Additionally i used that command for echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/ip_forward echo 1 > /proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/eth0/proxy_arp iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -j MASQUERADE nova secgroup-add-rule default tcp 22 22 0.0.0.0/0 nova secgroup-add-rule default icmp -1 -1 0.0.0.0/0

In this situation What I see I see that machines have IP by using inside of them ifconfig command and also from nova list command

  • Instances ping each other

  • Instances don't ping 8.8.8.8 and gateway which is 95.173.191.145

Architecture what I use is

  • Ubuntu 14.04 Gnome
  • 7 GB Ram

I have no idea how i can do that. I spend almost 80 hour for doing that and reading some blog etc but nothing if you have any idea or documents which you can send link you are welcome. Note: I know there are few

Maybe gonna be helpful some output of all-in-one machine
