Hi team,

I installed 2-node openstack with Redhat RDO method, one runs with control/network/storage, the other one with compute, after the installation the management traffic and storage traffic are going through the management NIC.

SVR1_NIC1(192.168.1.170) --<Management>--SVR2_NIC1(192.168.1.181)

Actually I have another NIC card on both servers and want to configure the nodes to let the Cinder Storage traffic go through the second NIC2.

SVR1_NIC2(192.168.4.170) --<Storage/iSCSI>--SVR2_NIC2(192.168.4.181)

Tried to configure /etc/cinder/cinder.conf to modify iscsi_ip_address from 192.168.1.170 to 192.168.4.170, and restarted openstack-cinder-xxx servers even restarted the whole nodes, but the compute node now still access Cinder storage through the management NIC(192.168.1.170).

[lvm]

iscsi_helper=lioadm
volume_group=cinder-volumes
iscsi_ip_address=192.168.4.170
volume_driver=cinder.volume.drivers.lvm.LVMVolumeDriver
volumes_dir=/var/lib/cinder/volumes
iscsi_protocol=iscsi
volume_backend_name=lvm

[root@ctl1 cinder(keystone_admin)]# netstat -tunpl | grep 3260

tcp        0      0 192.168.1.170:3260      0.0.0.0:*               LISTEN      -

Please kindly help, thanks a lot in advance.

did not try it myself but maybe, this could help http://www.gossamer-threads.com/lists...

you need to adjust both cinder.conf accordingly on controller and block-node
