Hi everyone,

Currently I have some trouble so start Windows 10 on all of my nodes. I have three nodes with three differents CPU and windows boots just on one of my node, for the others I have a blue screen during boot and windows doesn't want to boot.

I put for all of my compute nodes this config in nova-compute.conf :

cpu_mode=host-model

Below the CPU configuration for the compute nodes :

first compute nodes (where windows can start) :

Did you set os_type="windows" in the image properties? I'm assuming you are using KVM on the hypervisors?

Hi, I just tried and it still doesn't work, exactly the same issue. But Thanks for your answer. And yes I'm using KVM.

For informations, I've been able to install and run Windows 7 and 8.1 with cpu_model=Penryn but no way to start windows 10.

Right now, I don't have anymore idea about what could be wrong about windows 10, so if someone got an idea, I will really happy to hear it.

Thanks
