I'm trying to figure out how packaging of Openstack works. So my question is made up of a few smaller questions.

for Fedora/Centos/RHEL:

  1. Which is the upstream repository? > 1.1 Is it ?
  2. How can I try packages from master?
  3. Rdo uses the above repository?
  4. How can I generate centos-release-openstack-mitaka?

Finally, I could find any detailed documentation page. I managed to find only: ( which doesn't provide much information.

An answer to any this will be very helpful!

I'll add some details:

As it is mentioned in [1] the upstream dist-git repo is ( , for example ( . (Thanks Eduardo, I asked on #rdo but seeing it documented, it really helps).

To try packages from master on Centos7, one can download [2] and its dependencies [3] in /etc/yum.repos.d/ directory.
