I am trying to upload a very large image (100GB+) into glance and when I use the glance cli I get the following error:

Request returned failure status.

Invalid OpenStack Identity credentials.

I am able to do "glance image-list" and create smaller images just fine. So this make me think it is timing out.

I also tried to import it via horizon and the session times out before the upload can complete.

Is there a workaround for this?

Thanks!

I fixed this by extending the keystone token length.

In keystone.conf under: [token] I extended the token to one day:

expiration = 86400

and that fixed the problem.

Check the following configuration inside /etc/glance/glance-api.conf

image_size_cap=

Please note that the default value is 1TB.

Thanks, but the image I am trying to upload is around 120GB which is well under the 1TB cap.
