Mirantis Fuel 8 Single Node Deploy

I'm trying to deploy openstack on a single node so that I can get familiar with its Cisco ACI integration.

From what I can tell, fuel 8 doesn't support a single node pattern? It doesn't let me place a controller and compute roles on a single node.

Any ideas?

By Editing Nailgun Container running on Fuel Master the restrictions on role assignment can be removed.

On Fuel Master Node:

  1. dockerctl shell nailgun

  2. Comment out conflicts section for Controller on

    /usr/lib/python2.6/site-packages/nailgun/fixtures/openstack.yaml

  3. supervisorctl restart nailgun

In MOS, you can assign a role to a node, you cannot assign multiple role to a single node. For your question, you cannot compute and controller in a single node.
