I'm looking for instructions about how to configure for vlans using nova-network in havana? I got quite good with the Essex version, but have been distracted with other projects for a while. I'm not sure I want to try neutron yet.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm quite sure that VLANManger is configured the same way in Havana as it was in Essex. I have not used VLANManager with Havana yet, but I'm running it in production with Grizzly and its configuration has roots from an Essex deployment.

I've used FlatDHCPManager in Essex, Folsom, Grizzly, and Havana and no changes were needed.

The Havana Release Notes make no mention of any changes to nova-network, either: https://wiki.openstack.org/wiki/ReleaseNotes/Havana#Networking

I think you're safe to configure VLANManager the same way as you did in Essex. I'd be very surprised if there was a problem.

Joe
