Am a newbie to Containers with minimal awareness about basic docker usage. I want to configure and setup the Kubernetes with multiple docker containers nova instances cluster on OpenStack cloud using CentOS7 VirtualBox VM testbed. Please provide some inputs about the approach for this scenario to rig up the cluster.

Please can anyone share details/pointers for installation/configuration of openstack (kilo) magnum during packstack installation ?

Hi, Praveen.

Currently there is no support on packstack for installing magnum. You can do it with two methods:

Devstack: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/magnum/dev/dev-quickstart.html

Manual installation: http://docs.openstack.org/developer/magnum/dev/dev-manual-devstack.html

Note that manual installation is done in a previous devstack installation, so, you need to edit some things to properly use with packstack (file paths, names, values inside config files). For example: in packstack the tenant for the services is "services" and in manual installations and devstack is "service".

Hi, am not able to install the magnum(cloning magnum repo and executing pip install -e .) on Packstack system installed on RHEL7.2 The packstack environment is collapsing due to package version mismatch.

I created virtualenv on packstack setup & followed Manual Installation link. But service failed

Hi Eduardo, I installed magnum with PackStack (Libery) on RHEL7.2 and able to create baymodel. But the creation of bay gives me ERROR: unexpected keystone client error occurred: publicURL endpoint for key-manager service not found (HTTP 500). I then installed & configured barbican client.
