Environment: Centos 6.5 x86_64, Openstack Havana installed via RDO packstack. Docker installed and configured in nova.conf and glance images. Trying to get nova to boot a container instance from an imported docker image (it is already in glance):

can't add pvnetl24945 to bridge br-int: Operation not supported\n

The ovs-vsctl command produces:

[root@nova cv-openstack(keystone_admin)]# ovs-vsctl show
    Bridge br-int
        Port int-br-ex
            Interface int-br-ex
        Port br-int
            Interface br-int
                type: internal
    Bridge br-ex
        Port br-ex
            Interface br-ex
                type: internal
        Port phy-br-ex
            Interface phy-br-ex
    ovs_version: "1.11.0"

I don't even need OVS, just simple network (bridged?) I was trying both with "neutron.agent.linux.interface.BridgeInterfaceDriver" and with "neutron.agent.linux.interface.OVSInterfaceDriver" but no joy.

Thanks in advance,

So...right now, which interface driver are you using? Do you see any errors in the Neutron logs? Can you successfully used the Neutron client to create networks and subnets?

Hi, I tried both neutron.agent.linux.interface.OVSInterfaceDriver and neutron.agent.linux.interface.BridgeInterfaceDriver, in both cases it resulted in the error I've initially posted. Regarding the logs, after restarting all the neutron services, the logs under /var/log/neutron/ are all in order (I see no errors, also waited a few minutes and checked again - no errors). Neutron is working, I can create nets, subnets and all the rest.

Well, sadly, I've learned that there's no way to get docker and neutron working together: Furthermore, if using nova's default networking, I saw no relation between the ip assigned by nova (ip from the default network) and the ip range of the docker0 interface.
