Hello,

we wan't to start a lokal devstack environment with Ceilometer and Heat. All our attempts to find the right config are failed.

The last local.conf we have attempt was the following:

[[local|localrc]]
enable_plugin gnocchi https://github.com/openstack/gnocchi master

# Logging
LOGFILE=$DEST/logs/stack.sh.log
VERBOSE=True
LOG_COLOR=False
SCREEN_LOGDIR=$DEST/logs/screen

# Credentials
ADMIN_PASSWORD=devstack
MYSQL_PASSWORD=devstack
RABBIT_PASSWORD=devstack
SERVICE_PASSWORD=devstack
SERVICE_TOKEN=tokentoken

# Github's Branch
GLANCE_BRANCH=stable/kilo
HORIZON_BRANCH=stable/kilo
KEYSTONE_BRANCH=stable/kilo
NOVA_BRANCH=stable/kilo
NEUTRON_BRANCH=stable/kilo
HEAT_BRANCH=stable/kilo
CEILOMETER_BRANCH=stable/kilo

enable_service q-lbaas
enable_service ceilometer-api,ceilometer-collector
enable_service ceilometer-acompute
enable_service ceilometer-alarm-notifier,ceilometer-alarm-evaluator
enable_service heat,h-api,h-eng,h-api-cfn
enable_service gnocchi-api

GNOCCHI_COORDINATOR_URL=redis://localhost:6379?timeout=5

# Neutron - Networking Service
disable_service n-net
enable_service q-svc,q-agt,q-dhpc,q-l3,q-meta,q-metering,neutron

CEILOMETER_PIPELINE_INTERVAL=10

When stack.sh completed, we try the command "Ceilometer alarm-list" we get a HTTP 4.0 Request Error.

We try to installing devstack on Ubuntu Server 14.04 LTS.

Can someone help us to find a config for devstack with the Services ceilometer, heat and neutron (Load Balancer). We need this for a study project.

Thank you & Best regards.

From this devstack website you need to have the following on local.conf file.

#Enable the Ceilometer devstack plugin
enable_plugin ceilometer https://git.openstack.org/openstack/ceilometer.git
edit flag offensive delete link more
