I am very new to networking and cloud. I some have managed to install Openstack with Nova networking. I can access the dashboard. Now I need to create a network. After clicking on the networks tab. It prompts me to select whether it is Admin State or Shared or External Network. I have no idea what to select. Next it asks me to enter the subnet. I have no idea what it is. I have installed single node Openstack. It's IP is 192.168.1.36. What should be the subnet range? I have read somewhere that we need to create public and private networks and we need to create a router to connect them. But I don't know what should be the IP ranges. Another problem is I need to create a floating ip pool, so that the instances can be accessed from internet. But again I don't know what should be the range. Should it be the same as the network that is created? or am I going wrong anywhere? Please help me.
