neutron l2-gateway installation for packstack

Hi,

I have installed packstack on Centos 7. I installed the L2 gateway package (pip install networking-l2gw) and specified the L2GW plugin as a service plugin in neutron.conf (service_plugins =router, networking_l2gw.services.l2gateway.plugin.L2GatewayPlugin) Restarting the neutron server, doesn't bring up the l2gateway service. Checking the /var/log/neutron/server.log says that the "neutron.l2gateways" SQL table doesn't exist. Could someone help me setup this?

Thanks,

Joella

I have the same issue using openstack Kilo on Ubuntu. It seems that the tables were not created using the pip install. It would be nice if they could be added manually, or using another pip command.

After some googling I found:

neutron-l2gw-db-manage --config-file /etc/neutron/neutron.conf upgrade head

This creates the tables, and works for me.

I found some useful info at: http://kimizhang.com/neutron-l2-gateway-hp-5930-switch-ovsdb-integration/ (http://kimizhang.com/neutron-l2-gatew...)

Hope this helps.
