When I try to install devstack and run stack.sh, I get this at the end and keystone fail to install.

+ screen -S stack -p key -X stuff 'cd /opt/stack/keystone && /opt/stack/keystone/bin/keystone-all --config-file /etc/keystone/keystone.conf --log-config /etc/keystone/log'ing.conf -d --debug || touch "/opt/stack/status/stack/key.failure"
+ echo 'Waiting for keystone to start...'
Waiting for keystone to start...
+ timeout 60 sh -c 'while ! http_proxy= curl -s http://192.168.100.57:5000/v2.0/         >/dev/null; do sleep 1; done'
+ die 326 'keystone did not start'
+ local exitcode=0
+ set +o xtrace
[ERROR] ./stack.sh:326 keystone did not start

my localrc file

FLOATING_RANGE=192.168.100.224/28
FIXED_RANGE=10.11.12.0/24
FIXED_NETWORK_SIZE=256
FLAT_INTERFACE=eth1
ADMIN_PASSWORD=supersecret
MYSQL_PASSWORD=iheartdatabases
RABBIT_PASSWORD=flopsymopsy
SERVICE_PASSWORD=iheartksl

In stackrc I have done following modifications

# unified auth system (manages accounts/tokens)
KEYSTONE_REPO=${KEYSTONE_REPO:-${GIT_BASE}/kwss/keystone.git}
KEYSTONE_BRANCH=${KEYSTONE_BRANCH:-kent-federated-april}

Anyone know what I can do to get this to work?

Check on this site how to debug OpenStack: you'll need to look at the logs to find out what's going on

Do:

screen -x stack

And see why the service failed.

You don't need to make modifications to the stackrc file, just override the variable values with what you need in the localrc one.

Hi Joshua, I had the same problem. install python-pbr package and run stack.sh again. It will solve the problem. Regards, asanka88
