Hi there. I've just installed an rdo openstack kilo. Then I wanted to create a new dashboard by command line.

[root@ops001 ~]# cd /usr/share/openstack-dashboard
[root@ops001 openstack-dashboard]# python manage.py startdash testdashboard --target openstack_dashboard/dashboards/testdashboard
WARNING:root:"dashboards" and "default_dashboard" in (local_)settings is DEPRECATED now and may be unsupported in some future release. The preferred way to specify the order of dashboards and the default dashboard is the pluggable dashboard mechanism (in /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack_dashboard/enabled, /usr/share/openstack-dashboard/openstack_dashboard/local/enabled).

    output = self.handle(*args, **options)
  File "/usr/lib/python2.7/site-packages/horizon/management/commands/startdash.py", line 50, in handle
    options["extensions"].extend(["tmpl", "html", "js", "css"])
KeyError: 'extensions'

I couldn't fix the problem. Who can help?

IIRC, that code for creating a new dashboard is has been broken around that time. Nobody really uses it, that's the main issue, so we (Horizon upstream) don't get a feedback on this, sorry. You may have better luck with using '--dashboard=<dash-python-path>'

as well.

I do not think this is the answer. May be you can provide some hints how to generate new Dashboard skeleton? I've the same options["extensions"].extend(["tmpl", "html", "js", "css"]) KeyError: 'extensions' by following http://docs.openstack.org/developer/horizon/topics/tutorial.htm (http://docs.openstack.org/developer/h...)
