I have been reading up on Openstack with great interest and I will like to join the community. However, being someone with a networking background and no knowledge on coding, is it still possible for me to join this community and contribute?

I am really keen to understand the networking side of thing in Openstack.

Absolutely!

There are lots of other ways you can contribute besides coding. The most notable way would be by sharing your networking knowledge with the community. This could be in the form of answering questions on this site, participating in the mailing list discussions, and contributing documentation to docs.openstack.org .

Filing bugs at the various launchpad sites also helps a lot.

And you never know -- once you become familiar enough with OpenStack, you may come across a small bug that you've figured out how to fix on your own and end up submitting a code patch. :)
