Can I get this to work?

I have trouble getting a few characters over the VNC console in horizon. I've tried modifiying the keymap parameter in every place I can find to keymap=sv, but that makes it even worse!

At first though it was because I was using libvirt-viewer on windows to an opensuse where firefox was running, but now, from firefox on windows directly through horizon->console->instance, I still cant get /, ;, and a few other characters over the link when using cirros, fedora21 or fedora23 cloud images.

Is it the instance image itself maybe that simply boots with us keyboard?

I assume you're using the nova novnc proxy. The keymap used there is the keymap installed by the vm. Cloud images are quite stripped down, and, for example, Fedora cloud images are missing localization.
