Running grizzly install from openstack.org . After configuring ietadm rather then tgtadm, creation of first volume fails every time. Every volume after the first failure creates successfully.

ietadm delete tid fails with bus

ietadm --op show --tid=1

Wthreads=8
Type=0
QueuedCommands=32
NOPInterval=0
NOPTimeout=0

lvdisplay shows prior to creation:

Are you saying that you can create one volume only and that when you try to create a new volume, this latest one fails?

opposite, first one fails every other is successful.

Can you clarify what happens when you try `ietadm --op delete --tid=1`?

Received error busy at first. I shut down the open-iscsi service then was able to delete it.

With the volume deleted, are you now able to create an initial volume?

Not 100% sure how I resolved it, but I ended up dropping and recreating the DB.
