Hi,

I would like to test multiple cinder volume drivers from tempest, as of now tempest allows to to run cinder tests to specific driver with all the available tests in cinder.

can someone let me know, how to configure to test multiple volume backend ex: 3par iscsi & lefthand in one run

I have tried changing the conf to

volume] endpoint_type = internalURL backend1_name = lhn backend2_name = 3par

[volume-feature-enabled] multi_backend =true

Any help on this would be really helpful

Hi,

you should enable multi backends like you did;

tempest.conf

multi_backend =true also, add both backends under [volume] backend1_name = 3par backend2_name = lefthand

The above backend names should appear also in your

cinder.conf

[3par] volume_driver = cinder.volume.drivers.infinidat.InfiniboxVolumeDriver volume_backend_name = infinibox-1150-pool-7327037 san_ip = ibox1150 san_login = admin san_password = 000000 infinidat_pool_name = openstack san_thin_provision = true infinidat_storage_protocol = fc
