Hello

I want to install Trove and integrate it with openstack. We are building a cloud environment and we need to use DBaaS. I am searching online for weeks to find the instructions on how to install Trove and implement it with openstack but i had no luck on that. We are using openstack liberty on ubuntu 14.04 and if someone could help me on how to integrate Trove with liberty it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hope this post will be a good reference for you. There may be some slight difference between kilo and liberty version, but the main logic should be the same.

Thank you. That really worked and i could get it installed in liberty as well. The other issue that im facing is on how to create the database instances. Could you please help me with that?

I will also make a guide on how to get it installed on liberty and i could send it to you by email so that you could put it on your website. You have lots of good information in there so people could look and get help.

Step 3-6 in this post can help you resolve the issue you are facing. Yeah, I would like to put your experience in my blog and benefit more people.

I am trying to create an instance the way you explained but im not being able to. I am also trying with dib but it seems that some files are missing in there. Can i use the prepared instances for devstack with openstack for testing purposes only?

I don't think it will work. As explained in this post, "These images are intended for use with devstack based systems...". Where were you not able to follow my explanation in the post?
