Hi, I want to list all the deployments done on openstack. As per my knowledge, Openstack uses Database to persist all the deployment details(I'm not sure. Please correct me if I'm wrong). how can I get all those details including the deleted/terminated deployments. Is there any REST API available for this?

Thanks, Suresh

I want to list all the details of VMs provisioned, like if I query GET servers, I get the list of instances running on a particular host at that instance of time. I want to know is there a service that can list deployments(including deleted) deployments. This is to keep track of what is done.

well the details of the VM are stored in mysql database and that gets edited whenever an instance is deleted and spawned, I dont think there is a service which can tell you this. You can create a very small process which uses cielometer api and counts the number of VM spawned in the system.

Thanks coolsvap for your reply. I got it. We have to add a queryparameter "status" while listing the servers.
