Hi there, i try to install OpenStack liberty on RHEL 7, i followed the steps ans it works fine until the verify step for the identity service.

when i'm launching this command

openstack --os-auth-url http://controller:35357/v3 \

--os-project-domain-id default --os-user-domain-id default \

--os-project-name admin --os-username admin --os-auth-type password \

token issue

it ask me a password and then wait for 10 seconds and display this error message:

An unexpected error prevented the server from fulfilling your request. (HTTP 500) (Request-ID: req-b63f6ec9-3136-467e-b1f9-a920aec41690)

and in the log file, there is:

2015-11-25 11:51:12.952 7888 INFO keystone.common.wsgi [req-2b101b84-4718-4369-b552-b14e950b03ef - - - - -] GET http://controller:35357/v3/

i'v unset the environment variables and remove admin_auth_token from /usr/share/keystone/keystone-dist-paste.ini

Someone have any idea about how handle this ?

I got the same error with similar configuration. I'm using centos 7

The answer that I got was to add the following line in /etc/keystone/keystone.conf

connection = mysql://keystone:pass@localhost/keystone

below connection = mysql://keystone:pass@controller/keystone

and the run /bin/sh -c "keystone-manage db_sync" keystone and execute again the commands to create the identity service
