Can we migrate vm from vmware to openstack?

I have vmware vms and I want to migrate those vm to openstack cloud. Is it possible to migrate vm on exsi host to openstack..?

you can migrate the disks to openstack and upload it to glance since it supports below format

--disk-format <disk_format> Format of the disk Valid values: ami, ari, aki, vhd, vmdk, raw, qcow2, vdi, iso

You need to either configure the setup like launch the vms either booting from image directly or create the bootable volumes using uploaded images and then launch vms using bootable volumes.

this is what I think. Other may give their feedback and better solutions.

thanks for replying. When I create a vm there are lots of file(vmdk,vmsd,vmxf etc..).which one should I convert to, vmdk?
