Hello All,

We have an openstack cluster where mongoDB configured as an extra node. When we tried to call the following command from the controller, its returns nothing but an error.

ceilometer meter-list

The error is the following

HTTPConnectionPool(host='1192.168.1.2', port=8777): Max retries exceeded with url: /v2/meters (Caused by <class 'httplib.BadStatusLine'>: '')

We checked the ceilometer logs, but found nothing unusual.

such a simple description cannot help others to locate your problem, then cannot help yourself.

is it a quick response or very long?

how large is your data set?

is the ceilometer-api (or apache process) running?

can you try ceilometer alarm-list ?

That's a strange IPv4 address.

Its a typo actually :) right address is like in the header ""

Is this your controller node? Even if the typo is only in, check if port 8777 on is accessible. Perhaps the firewall blocks the port, or ceilometer is not running or not listening on that port, etc.

No, Ceilometer is running on that port and no firewall blocking that port. We can telnet to that. It was related to this Bug --> .
