I am using the Fuel CLI. I try this command from the Fuel server:

fuel node --node-id 44 --setname foobar

But the fuel node list command shows that the node with ID 44 retains its old name. I am logged in as root. There is no error message.

Hi , I believe there is a mistake in the way you wrote the commend, please try: fuel none --node 44 --setname foobar Or try as well: fuel node --node 44 --hostname foobar

Cheers, Christian

Hello,

As per this Blueprint you cannot change the node name from CLI. But you can change by double click on the node on Fule GUI. As per my understanding, setname is for assign a name to the node for the first time. But rename is another story.
