I have installed OpenStack kilo on a single machine using devstack. When I click at an image (e.g. cirros-0.3.4-x86_64-uec) in the Dashboard, I see this error, due to which I am unable to launch it.

@SGPJ, @dbaxps: could you please help me?..Glance service is working fine i.e. there are no errors in its logs.

I have checked that all the services are running perfectly with the exception of cinder-backup(c-bak). It gives this error "Volume group "stack-volumes-lvmdriver-1" not found". Has this anything to do with the above problem in glance?

  1. How important is Kilo for you ? I installed Liberty via devstack on 14.04.3 with no problems
  2. Why you need devstack so badly ? If you do need Kilo install via RDO packstack on CentOS 7.1

Can you use the CLI client? It provides more detail. Or check the glance api log or other glance logs?

Volume group "stack-volumes-lvmdriver-1" not found

Could it be that you rebooted that host? The VG resides on a loopbacked file; you need to run losetup manually after a reboot.

That error looks like dependency issue. Please make sure that you don't install requests from distribution packages and that it's within the supported versions. (If you install requests from pypi the vendored urllib which is known to work with requests is used and this issue should disappear.)
