how to create windows image to boot an instance in kvm/qemu?

I want to launch windows instances in my openstack cloud infrastructure. My Hypervisor is qemu. How can I launch windows?

Be aware that only windows server supports multiple cpu sockets. From what i have learned when assigning multiple vcpus to a windows instace, the guest sees every vcpu as a cpu socket. I didn't find how to make windows see the vcpus allocated as cores to a single cpu socket!

Tried this too. The download seems corrupt. Instead of 6.5GB only 3.5GB gets downloaded.

If you get errors during download, please use a browser that supports resuming the download from where it stopped.

Said that, we support KVM, but not QEMU in the WS2012 R2 evaluation images.
