Deployment and Considerations for odd environment

A little background; We are looking to deploy Mirantis OpenStack, but due to several factors outside our control it will need to wait for next year. In the meantime we are expanding our Ovirt cluster.

What we do want is to use OpenStack for our centralized storage. My plan is to run a CEPH backend that feeds a NAS4FREE instance, then point the Ovirt nodes to the iscsi targets created within NAS4FREE.

What would be the best way to deploy this? I will have a single storage node initially and I can pull together two or three servers as controllers and compute nodes.

EDIT : I will have two (2) storage nodes initially. Sadly I have been having problems in my test environment extremely long install times (up to five hours) and the deployment failing with granular errors. But any input is appreciated.
