I keep getting the below error using dashboard on kilo. I updated various files following the google search openstack search but still cant figure out the cause. Any one has ideas?

Could this be the answer? I am using centos7.0 https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.... From link: Apparently two changes to /etc/openstack-dashboard/local_settings are required: adding: SESSION_ENGINE = 'django.contrib.sessions.backends.cache'

(make sure, you have a cache configured. Packstack does that, for example. and AUTH_USER_MODEL = 'openstack_auth.User'

The above change resolved for me.

It appears that there is a https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1218894 (bug) I ran into similar issue. As a "quick and dirty" fix try to access dashboard in Private Mode of your browser or delete cookies from previous sessions. The best thing is update your python-django-openstack-auth-1.2.0-2 python-django-horizon-2015.1.0-6.el7 package
