Hi, I am trying to spin up a VM using an ISO image in my openstack environment. The command is as follows -

nova boot --flavor m1.medium --nic net-id=<> --block-device id=<>,source=volume,dest=volume,bus=ide,device=/dev/vdb,size=1,type=cdrom,bootindex=0 --block-device source=volume,id=<>,dest=volume,device=/dev/vda,size=20,bootindex=1 testVM00

But when Ubuntu starts booting its stuck in partitioning stage. Help, anyone?

As far I as I know it can be done only via glance... i.e. first add iso as an image in the glance... Then start the VM with this image.... it will lead the VM to the setup of the ISO that was there
